    Description

    As the QA Lead at Pixieset, you will have the crucial role of maintaining the exceptional quality and excellence of our innovative products, serving over 1 million users.

    You'll test new and existing products for both mobile and web applications and have the autonomy and opportunity to drive positive change by implementing processes and improvements.

    Lead a QA team dedicated to mobile and web application testing
    Drive the implementation and maintenance of manual and automated testing frameworks
    Develop comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements and objectives
    Oversee and actively participate in test case creation, execution, and result analysis
    Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, procedures, and results
    Collaborate with the QA Manager to align teams with quality goals
    Effectively communicate with stakeholders and management to ensure a clear understanding of QA objectives
    Track and manage defects through their lifecycle, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution
    Ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing processes
    Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes for efficiency and effectiveness
    Generate regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality
    4+ years of experience as a QA Analyst
    ~ Experience with manual and automated testing for mobile and web applications
    ~ Experience leading and mentoring a QA team
    ~ Knowledge and experience with various web stack-related languages (e.g. PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL)
    ~ Knowledge and experience with cross-platform mobile-related languages (e.g. Experience with manual and automated functional testing for mobile and web applications
    ~ Experience with scripting test suites for web and mobile applications using frameworks (e.g. Self-motivated and has a passion for continuous improvement, quality, and test automation
    ~ Hybrid work environment (2 in-office days per week)

    The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $92,150 - $122,850 annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience and market data.
