What you'll do The School of Tourism Management is looking for a dynamic tourism marketing professional who can teach various marketing courses and topics, including but not limited to, marketing basics, integrated marketing communications and applied digital marketing strategies.
The content of marketing courses is designed to develop current and relevant skills for student success and enable students to develop marketing plans, integrated marketing communications strategies, and demonstrate digital marketing techniques and strategies that are key to effectively communicating a tourism business or destination brand and engaging with customers.
This role is expected to be able to teach in all levels of our programs, from 1st year to 4th year, while engaging domestic and international students in the programs, content, and industry.
In addition, regular faculty members are leaders within the department and are expected to be active in the development of curriculum, programs, and partnerships that enhance the brand and student experience.
Course outlines and access to materials are provided but it is expected that the instructor will continue to build on existing course content to include topical and relevant resources, experiences, and examples.
The instructor will also meet with faculty who teach complementary courses to ensure progression of student learning.What you'll bring Qualifications Required:
