    Coordinator, Leasing & Resident Services
    Smart Living Properties is based in Ottawa and has been building and managing Smart spaces since 2005.

    Recognized for our quality workmanship, innovative technology, open collaboration, and exceptional standards, we offer a one-stop approach to the planning, development, construction, and management of remarkable buildings.

    This position will be based out of our new Woodroffe Place - A fully furnished, All-inclusive rental community near Algonquin College.

    The Coordinator Leasing and Resident Services is responsible for the day-to-day leasing and resident engagement of the assigned properties.

    Handle leasing inquiries, conduct tours, diligently pursue the close of each sale, perform follow ups, and complete leasing paperwork with prospective residents.

    Verify and ensure that the selected tour properties and units are properly notified and in proper show condition.

    Ensure all executed lease files are accurate, complete, organized and entered into lease tracking directory and property management system.

    Work with management team to plan and implement the annual renewal and new leasing plan.

    Identify new opportunities to generate leases for the property to meet and/or exceed d revenue, occupancy or other identified leasing targets.

    Ensure that all leases have been correctly entered into the Property Management System, including but not limited to lease dates, rental amounts, billing dates, residential and guarantor information.

    Audit lease files to maintain accuracy and consistency with Property Management System and the leasing directory.
    Assist with preparing financial reports, budgets, revenue projections, and variance analysis, and investor reports as necessary.
    Resident Services and Property Management
    Maintain positive customer service outlook.
    Help manage all resident complaints. Assist residents with all accounting items including rent payment options and ledger inquiries.
    Plan and execute resident engagement events/activities and ensure common amenities are promoted to the community.
    Promote harmonious relations among residents and the community.
    Ability to execute creative marketing and leasing/sales strategies.
    Preferably to have leasing and property management experience
    Preferably to have a working knowledge of property management software (Rent Cafe, Yardi)
    Possess ability and desire to sell accommodation to various students/groups/organizations and professionals.
    Strong organizational, communications, and customer service skills; Be computer literate with experience in Microsoft applications.

    Preparedness to meet the obligations of this position, including evening and weekends during leasing season or emergency at assigned properties.
