    About the role

    Joining us as an Account Executive at Riverside means being a crucial part of our growth strategy, responsible for generating revenue by nurturing relationships with potential clients and converting them into satisfied Riverside users. Your tasks will include managing incoming leads, attending meetings scheduled by our Business Development team, and overseeing the entire sales process until new users are onboarded.

    About you

    We are seeking a skilled sales professional who can confidently engage in discussions with executives and technical experts. Ideally, you have prior experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and have the capacity to engage with larger corporations. You should possess a deep understanding of the buying journey and be able to navigate both simple, single-stakeholder deals and complex, multi-party sales in a consultative manner.

    What you'll be doing

    • Identifying promising potential users from inbound leads
    • Owning the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure
    • Leading and participating in team initiatives to enhance our sales approach
    • Collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to boost our growth trajectory
    • Monitoring progress and metrics, and presenting regular proposals to management for enhancing the sales strategy
    • Achieving sales targets consistently to support team objectives for revenue and growth

    What you bring to the table

    • 2+ years of experience in sales closing at a tech company, demonstrating a history of exceptional performance - essential
    • Ability to learn quickly, creative thinking, attention to detail, positive attitude, enthusiastic team player, and strong determination to succeed
    • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
    • Aptitude for thriving in a remote team setting through self-drive and initiative
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • Genuine interest in technology
    • Prior exposure to the media industry is advantageous
