    Unit Clerk 2L Medicine (Job ID: 4514)

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Grade 12 education required.
    • Recent experience as a Unit Clerk, or other clerical experience required.
    • Computer skills with proficiency using email and Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level required.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Basic mathematical/numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
    • Payroll data entry, staffing and scheduling and invoicing validation experience preferred.
    • Polite & efficient telephone manner.
    • Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
    • Able to work well under pressure & co-operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
    • Satisfactory attendance record.
