    Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable energy? Hydrostor, a pioneer in Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) systems, is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join our team in Toronto.

    Our cutting-edge A-CAES technology is uniquely positioned to revolutionize the energy landscape.

    The Manager, Financial Reporting, reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Operations and prepares and analyzes quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS Accounting guidelines.

    The successful candidate will also assist with the day-to-day management of the financial operations including managing the expense report and credit card process, the build-out and maintenance of the financial policies, processes and systems, and the equity record management, etc.

    Full Cycle Accounting
    Journal entries/accruals/reconciliations
    Technical accounting research
    Conduct variance analysis with commentary
    Audit and Controls
    Maintain strong internal control environment
    Support inventory count/audit
    Other Duties and Projects
    Oversee expense report and credit card operation and management
    Support in any process automation and system implementations or upgrades
    Assist in developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures and processes

    The ideal candidate for this role is a dedicated, detail-oriented and result-driven finance professional with a deep understanding of full-cycle accounting, IFRS and financial report preparation/management.

    CPA designated with 5+ years of full-cycle accounting expertise, relevant accounting and reporting experience
    Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in technical accounting research
    Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
