    The Department of Language Studies (DLS) at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) stands as one of the largest language departments among Ontario universities, both in terms of number of faculty as well as program enrolment.

    The undergraduate programs offered by DLS cover a diverse range, including major/specialists in French Studies, Italian Studies and Linguistics, in addition to minors in these areas as well as Chinese Language and Culture, Education Studies, and Global Leadership.

    Reporting to our Supervisor, Academic Advisor, and working closely with the Director of Language Academy, this position is responsible for providing support for the Global Minor program, including providing program related information and advice to students, supporting program administration, and coordinating program logistics.

    This position will also provide project administration and logistical support for the Language Academy Your responsibilities will include:

    Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
    Minimum three years of relevant experience, including experience providing administrative and/or course support to an undergraduate education program
    Experience with interpreting and applying academic policies and procedures
    Strong computer skills in MS office, database and content management systems, and group scheduling software
    Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
