THE GENTLEMEN (3 Spuds on Netflix) OK, so I'm a sucker for anything that Guy Ritchie has anything to do with, because most of his stuff is pretty extreme and really entertaining. This is a series based on a movie he did earlier, about a man who inherits his father’s massive estate in England, only to find that the only thing that’s keeping it afloat is an underground drug empire on the property. By Guy Ritchie standards this is a little less frenetic but every bit as extreme, as the son and heir tries to keep everything from collapsing all around him, or running afoul of some pretty nasty Guy Ritchie type bad guys. This is part satire, part drama and part comedy, but it’s really watchable because Guy Ritchie doesn’t mess around.
