![FREEDOM OF SPEECH?
Last week | had my account restricted on LinkedIn
for comments | had made about certain people of the
Republican persuasion. They seemed pretty harmless
to me, but then all of a sudden, these comments were
flagged by LinkedIn and my account was temporarilty
[EH GEE]
My suspicion is that these comments were report-
ed by other people of the Republican persuasion,
which | know for a fact is their weapon of choice on
HIRING
I have personally never reported anyone on
LinkedIn or anywhere, because freedom of speech is
important to me. But the social media system is such
that anyone or any group can file a complaint about
you.and if they make enough noise, have you suspend-
ed and perhaps even banned
These people obviously don't believe in freedom of
speech. In fact | think they are terrified of it
The bottom line is that now that | know this, |
have to be uber careful about political postings or
comments. And since | was already looking for a rea-
son to jump out of that ring, this is as good a reason
as any to do just that
