THE CANADIAN REPORT Weekend (April2/3) Just heard that Sean Penn, actor turned activist and all round good guy. is asking billionaires around the world to kick in about 300 million clams to help the Z man buy a squad of fighter jets. These jets would target Russian fuel depots and refineries and would screw Russia up big time, maybe even to the point of capitulation. Think of it this way, if you're Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates, donating the whole wad would not even affect the number of billions you have. It will be interesting to see what happens. Also heard that the Russian propaganda machine is hard at work. The bullshit de jour from them is that a whopping big 89% of the Russian people support Putin's war on Ukraine. What they failed to mention is that dissenters can definitely expect a house call from the FSB, which used to be the KGB, for a little friendly persuasion. You should know that any FSB mention is enough to scare the pants of any Russian over the age of 6. It is a measure of Putin's insanity that he thinks the world will all of a sudden start agreeing that this is much more highly principled than an ongoing series of war crimes. Sorry Vlad, but your future was pooched the minute you start firing on Ukrainian apartment building and hospitals. At the same time, | noticed that Russia has conscripted 135,000 new army recruits to throw at this war. Oh great, more poorly trained teenagers for the Ukrainian snipers to practice on. This whole thing and the world's inability to shut it down is insanity on a level we have not seen in quite sometime. It's the strongest case yet for the complete nuclear disarmament But, sad as it might be, his nukes are the only wild card Putin has in his hand, and everybody is terrified that he will use it. Because not only is he facing a no-win future from the war crimes perspective, word is that he has is constantly accom- panied by a doctor specialized in thyroid cancer.
