    Marsh Canada is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Toronto office:


    Senior Coordinator – Commercial Insurance Operations

    • As a Senior Coordinator for our Fiduciary Operations – Accounting Discrepancies team, you will be part of a challenging and dynamic work environment and will have the opportunity to handle complex accounting reconciliations, analyze accounting data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

    • To be considered a great hire, you will need to accomplish the following:
      • In the first 30 days, you should familiarize yourself with our accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
      • In the first 60 days, you should demonstrate your ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies efficiently and accurately.
      • In the first 90 days, you should display your ability to work independently, and you will be expected to handle complex accounting issues. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial during this period.

    We will count on you to:

    • Provide support to Client Service Teams by conducting timely and efficient research and investigation of accounting discrepancies. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying the root cause of these issues and determining the necessary steps to achieve a complete functional solution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including Finance, Operations, and insurance companies to gather additional information when analyzing and resolving accounting discrepancies
    • Maintain accurate documentation of your review process, findings, and resolutions. This includes documenting any discrepancies identified, actions taken to resolve them, and recommendations for process improvements. You will also be expected to prepare summaries, and present your findings and recommendations to client service teams and other stakeholders
    • You will play a vital role in ensuring premium, commission, revenue shares, and payable parties in our billing system correspond accurately with the information outlined in the policy documents and endorsements when resolving discrepancies
    • Contribute to the achievement of Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA) , Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives
    • Strict adherence to Company's practices, systems, policies and procedures

    What you need to have:

    • College/university degree
    • 2-3 years prior commercial insurance experience in an accounting/billing capacity. Core commercial insurance knowledge is essential
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to interface with colleagues at all levels within the organization
    • Detail oriented; strong numerical, problem solving, and organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong work ethic and a positive attitude
