    Teaching Assistant:
    Introduction to Teaching (EDS265H1F)

    Victoria College Program:
    Education & Society Program
    Teaching Assistant (1 Position - CUPE 3902, Unit 2)
    EDS265H1F Introduction to Teaching - Builds understanding of teaching as professional practice. The course primarily focuses on the research base underlying policies and documents such as the Foundations of Professional Practice. This course is restricted to students enrolled in the Education and Society Minor.
    64 hourly rate as per CUPE agreement (currently January 2023 rate).
    Graduate student in Education (Ph.
    Preference in hiring will be given to graduate students at the University of Toronto.
    Experience teaching in K-12 or university/college settings
    Familiarity with the Ontario College of Teachers Standards of Professional Practice
    Passion for learning and teaching

    • Must have excellent time management skills
    Must have high capacity for objective, consistent evaluation of student performance
    This position is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902, Unit 2 Collective Agreement.
