    IT Support Technician

    • Do you have what we're looking for?

  • AEC, DEC, or similar relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Outstanding customer approach: excellent listener, patient, communicates clearly.
  • Methodical problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Reliable, rigorous, and good team player.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • At ease in a dynamic environment, flexible with task and schedule changes, ability to physically go to other sites when needed.

    • Here's a typical day:

  • Resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Follow-up requests assiduously, communicate status to the user on a regular basis, document and close requests.
  • Search for and apply solutions using available search tools.
  • Create and update solutions in the knowledge base.
  • Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Take part in alternating telephone call schedules. Ability to manage and prioritize requests. Stay alert and report critical situations.

    • Here are some of the systems used: Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune, Epicor Prophet 21, Workday, EDI, Moneris, Service Desk Plus, LogmeIn Rescue, Telus Business Connect and Contact Center, Zoho Site 24x7.
