    Company Name: Pro Vita Care Management Inc. (Pro Vita) Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location of Work: 1526 Oxford Street, North Vancouver, V7J 1E6 Shift(s): Full-time: (Temporary) Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 40 hours/week Wage: $26.25 /hour

    Scheduling & Payroll Administrative Assistant Must Haves:

  • Completion of a recognized administrative/office assistant program.
  • A minimum of 2 years recent administrative experience (ideally in a medical environment).
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Minimum 50 wpm keyboarding skills.
  • Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
  • Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

    • Scheduling & Payroll Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of all care staff in full time and part time lines
  • Handing sick calls and coverage
  • Handling vacation requests and coverage
  • Entry of payroll to ensure that all hours are allocated and coded appropriately (as regular, sick, vacation etc)
  • Completion of HR related documents (HR, WorkSafe and OH&S) to send to head office.
  • Participation in the Hiring Process by screening applicants and managing new hire paperwork.
  • Other administrative support such as: Answering calls on behalf of Care Manager, Assisting and/or resolving issues & concerns if applicableMaintaining meeting minutesFilingMaintains/orders adequate office supplies and employee handbooksMaking/distributing employee name tags.
