    Concrete Solutions Engineer - Toronto, Canada

    Role Overview:

    We are looking for a proactive and skilled engineer to join our team at Master Builders Solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing departments, as well as concrete producers and contractors, providing expert technical support to drive the adoption of advanced high-performance concrete technologies.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage in continuous learning about concrete technologies, new applications, the construction industry, and customer insights to fuel business growth.
    • Articulate the unique value of our products, services, systems, and solutions to ensure a comprehensive understanding among customers and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate effectively across various functions such as marketing, sales, R&D, and others, demonstrating leadership and fostering a team environment to achieve common goals.
    • Lead the development of supporting materials like collateral, field data, and case studies to showcase the effectiveness and benefits of our product line.
    • Represent our brand at industry associations, technical committee meetings, and trade shows to advocate for our solutions.
    • Cultivate industry relationships to strengthen our position in the concrete construction market and enhance brand visibility.
    • Identify opportunities for value-added product offerings by engaging with industry professionals through targeted presentations and promotional activities.
    • Provide expert troubleshooting and support for concrete performance issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure adherence to company initiatives, policies, and procedures to maintain professional standards.

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry with a focus on concrete technologies.
    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working effectively with diverse teams.
    • Prior experience in construction, marketing, or sales within the concrete industry is desirable.
    • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information clearly.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
    • Advanced computer skills and ability to build positive relationships.
    • Effective planning, time management, proactive, and innovative mindset.
    • Willingness to travel, including between the US and Canada.
