    Description

    Join our team as a Manager, Finance Transformation In this role you will play a pivot role in assisting to build out financial systems, integrations, and improvements with our Home Offices teams.

    This is an 18-month contract role. We are ideally seeking a candidate in Calgary.

    What Will You Be Doing?

  • Serving as the financial representative for POS system enhancements.
  • Leading the implementation of initiatives, including rollout of major suppliers and new software or processes.
  • Coordinating cross-functional project plans and change management strategies.
  • Supporting the Operational Accounting and Financial Reporting teams.
  • Collaborating on the development of new processes and process improvements.
  • Enhancing controls: ensuring the internal control environment is adhered to, documented, and continuously assessing its effectiveness. Recommending and implementing enhancements.
  • Managing company-wide initiatives, such as transitioning to national vendors, consolidated billing, optimizing working capital, and executing cost reduction strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with operational teams to ensure accurate financial results, adherence to policies and providing training to support clinics and ensure their success.
  • Facilitating the integration of financial data from multiple practice management systems into our ERP.

    • As The Successful Candidate You Have:

  • Professional designation of a CPA is required
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of diverse systems and their functionalities
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products, extensive expertise, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in leading change management and implementing process enhancements.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire, coach, mentor and support team members
  • Advanced communication skills to effectively provide guidance and instructions
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines, thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Bilingualism French/English is considered an asset
