    Pembina Pipeline Corporation's Calgary office is recruiting for a Senior Accountant, Revenue to join the Controllers group. This position reports to the Supervisor, Revenue Accounting in the Conventional Business Unit, (CBU), part of Pembina's Pipelines Division. Pembina's conventional pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and North Dakota. This is a 12-month term position with a possibility of an extension.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with key members of the Business Unit including Contracts, Logistics, Business Development and Commercial Services to ensure the accuracy of invoices;
    • Assist monthly revenue invoicing in accordance with contractual terms;
    • Communicate and collaborate with customers to address queries and collection matters;
    • Maintain comprehensive excel spreadsheets for contracted parties to determine annual settlements;
    • Work collaboratively with other groups in preparation of the future performance obligation schedule;
    • Application and interpretation of IFRS 15 to revenue contracts;
    • Prepare monthly revenue entries in accordance to IFRS 15 including Make-up Rights provision, deferred revenue, contract liabilities and revenue disaggregation;
    • Prepare revenue and volume variance analysis including narrative write ups for monthly Scorecard;

    Job Requirements:

    • The ideal candidate will be energetic, resilient and possess a positive, can-do attitude;
    • Bachelor's degree (Commerce, Bus. Admin or related discipline) and professional accounting designation required;
    • Proven experience with the interpretation and application of IFRS 15, preferred;
    • Organized, detailed, analytical and able to consistently deliver accurate and timely information;
    • Minimum 5 years of post-designation experience in similar or related roles;
    • Strong knowledge of all MS Office tools, particularly Excel;
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and dead-line driven environment; and
    • Motivated self-starter who performs well independently and within a team environment; ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities;
