    Description

    THE POSITION Reporting to and working closely with the President & CEO, the Manager, Executive Support & Corporate Governance provides confidential and critical organization of key corporate functions within EDR.

    Executive Management
    Provide strategic and administrative support to the President & CEO.
    Pro-actively manage the President & CEO's internal & external schedule and calendar.
    From the Office of the President & CEO, project manage the execution of the

    Grow Regina Partnership:
    Execute partner contracts and ensure partners receive their granted benefits.
    Manage and track partner engagement.
    Support the President & CEO and Manager, Finance & Administration with Human Resource functions, including but not limited to:

    Administration and interpretation of annual employee engagement survey
    Support the President & CEO with other duties as required

    Corporate Governance

    Work with the Board Chair and Vice Chair to develop content for, delivery of, and evaluation of the onboarding process for new Directors of the Board.

    With the President & CEO and Board Chair, develop and revise the foundational governance materials and review process, such as terms of reference, code of conduct, etc.

    Lead the development and revision of corporate policies to reflect governance best practice and operational requirements.
    Advise and interpretation of by-laws, policies, and procedures.
    Manage and oversee Annual General Meetings.
    Write governance documents, policies, procedures, and reports as required including regular review of governance best practices.

    Support and provide guidance to the President & CEO, Board of Directors, committees and employees on governance related matters and processes.

    Proactively manage the annual workplan for the organization's relationship with the shareholder (City of Regina), including communication and packages for Council appearances.

    Track record in building respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with unquestioned personal and professional integrity.
    Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Executive Management, and/or relevant training and experience.
    Strong knowledge and/or experience in governance best practices.
    Understanding of not-for-profit organizations and/or municipal corporations is considered an asset.
    Strong MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
    EDR will provide appropriate governance training for the right candidate.
