    Description

    Do you have an experience working as executive assistant or office manager? If you are an executive assistant with background in accounting or finance we have an exciting permanent opportunity for you in Edmonton.

    Reporting directly to the seniors executive, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship.

    The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters for the executive.

    To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.

    • Permanent opportunity Responsibilities
    Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
    Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
    Manage executives' calendars and set up meetings as well as agenda
    Be part of health and safety committee and event committee
    Make travel and accommodation arrangements
    Rack daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
    Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
    Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
    Take minutes during meetings
    Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence Qualifications
    Experience working as senior administrative assistant or executive assistant
    Background working with accounting or finance is an asset
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
    High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior
    executives, staff, community leaders, donors, and funded partners.
    Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
    Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
    Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or
    turnaround.
    Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
    Excellent judgment is essential.
    Ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. Summary
