Director - Asset Services - Calgary, AB, Canada - Nutrien

    Nutrien background
    Description

At Nutrien, our purpose is Feeding the Future and we do so with safety, inclusion, integrity and results as our core values.

Nutrien is a leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions. We also operate a leading agriculture retail network that services over 500,000 growers globally.

    We harvest the best.

We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, act with integrity, and who support inclusion.

Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career.

In this critical role, you will report to the Nitrogen & Phosphate (N&P) ETC Senior Director, Asset Integrity.

You will be the owner of N&P's maintenance and reliability program, supporting ten (10) Nitrogen and seven (7) Phosphate fertilizer production sites, as well as the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics terminals across North America and Trinidad & Tobago, in achieving safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

You will lead a team of six (6) maintenance and reliability professionals in the implementation and improvement of N&P's asset care program, fostering Nutrien's Culture of Care within your team and through all interactions.

The vision, mission, strategy, and programs defined by your group are applied across those 17 sites and are considered a long-term strategic advantage of Nutrien.

This position will be located or based at any existing Nutrien N&P Operations or any Corporate Office in USA, Trinidad & Tobago, or Canada.

Implement, maintain, and enhance the maintenance and reliability strategy for Nitrogen and Phosphate. Develop strong relationships with operating sites to increase adoption and effectiveness of N&P's maintenance and reliability processes and systems.
Support sites in their continuous improvement and program implementation efforts.

Ensure Nutrien's programs are aligned with industry best practices and relevant industry learnings are incorporated into Nutrien's standards, practices, policies, programs, and procedures.

Ensure the appropriate tools and technologies are in place to enable the maintenance and reliability processes and programs.
Use data to identify areas of opportunity, monitor performance, and support leader decision making.

Coordinate within the ETC and across other business functions to deliver strategic objectives that support N&P's maintenance and reliability goals.

Develop and provide training to grow expertise in the areas of Maintenance & Reliability within N&P. Coach and mentor upcoming maintenance and reliability professionals.
A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent technical school diploma.
CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) designation, or equivalent, or be committed to achieving within one year from date of hire
A demonstrated track record of at least 15 years of related technical and/or managerial experience in petrochemical or process manufacturing companies
Experience in maintenance program development and implementation with a focus on change leadership
Customer focused approach with a strong emphasis on stakeholder relationship building
