    Service Desk Analyst

    Type:

    Hybrid - Regina, Saskatchewan - 1 Year Contract

    Description of duties:

    The IT Service Desk is looking for a Technical Analyst to directly resolve customer issues by following best practices. This role is accountable to update troubleshooting documentation as part of our knowledge base and utilize this documentation in providing support. This role is a member of the IT service desk and a major part of a typical workday will be resolving incidents over various communication channels.

    Required Skills:

    • 2 to 3 years of customer support experience.
    • Comfortable with a variety of basic software solutions
    • Good communication, time management
    • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools
    • Dependable and reliable
    • Familiarity with updating and using a knowledge base
    • General knowledge of computer systems, analysis techniques, and ITIL processes
    • Diploma in a computer field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
    • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
    • Knowledge of computer systems, analysis techniques, and ITIL processes.
    • Bilingual skills are a nice-to-have.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer issues promptly and efficiently
    • Maintain troubleshooting documentation in the knowledge base to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for both customers and team members.
    • Resolve incidents reported by customers through various communication channels, such as phone, email, or chat.
    • Clear and professional communication with customers and team members
    • ITIL processes and standards in incident management and service delivery.
