    Dynamic Source Manufacturing Inc. is looking to hire a Plant Manager at our Calgary facility.

    The Opportunity

    Reporting to the President, the Plant Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing operations of our Calgary plant. This includes championing LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives. The objective will be to exceed client expectations and increase profitability and growth.

    Work Flexibility

    This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday). Flex hours are permitted, as we trust our employees to get their job done and manage their own schedules and business needs accordingly.

    Responsibilities

    • Champion the development of a Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement culture
    • Consistently deliver outstanding customer service by delivering a high-quality product with on-time delivery
    • Manage budget and drive cost reduction within the manufacturing operation
    • Develop and motivate a team of functional manufacturing leaders
    • Be a strong contributor to development and execution of the company's manufacturing strategic plan
    • Be a member of the company's senior leadership team
    • Ensure attainment of plant targets and financial objectives
    • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that manufacturing and shipping schedules are adhered to
    • Develop a sustainable organization focused on delivery and continuous improvement of safety, quality, productivity and cost
    • Build a strong collaborative relationship with sales team
    • Keep abreast with market and industry changes that may impact the business
    • Lead the OH&S activities within the facility

    Qualifications

    • Degree in a Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related business discipline
    • Excellent hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
    • Experience in a high-tech/electronics-based manufacturing environment preferred
    • 10+ years operational experience leading more than 200+ direct and indirect staff across multiple manufacturing departments.
    • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statementsStrong leadership, project management and communication skills
    • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
