- Thoroughly understand your client's business objectives and what they're inherently looking to fix, accomplish, or avoid
- Clearly articulate Seedtag's value proposition through professionally delivered live and virtual presentations
- Build and cultivate strong relationships at multiple levels with brands and agencies through consultative selling with prompt and personalized follow-up
- Seek our RFPs and RFIs for Seedtag to respond with business plans, media proposals and commercial opportunities that drive value for customers and revenue for the company
- Build and package innovative custom solutions that align well with the company's core strengths and are deliverable
- Be accountable with accurate forecasting and a clean, up to date pipeline. CRM hygiene is a must
- Liaison with Ad Operations and Account Management to ensure they clearly understand what success looks like for the client
- Prioritize account retention by constantly looking to improve our work for the client with an eye on optimizing to outcomes
- Support cross-functional teams with customer insights, trends and case-studies of success
YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF
- 10+ years experience in digital ad sales with a track record in both programmatic and/or managed service-type deals
- You are located in the Toronto area and are an expert on that territory as well as Montreal and West Coast markets with an established network of decision-makers across an agency's planning and programmatic teams and direct clients
- Experience breaking new business and growing existing accounts
- Love the fundamentals of sales, measuring what works, and being in front of clients
- You have an eagerness to work in a startup team environment and partner well across departments for collaborating
- You are an educator and business consultant – connecting with clients to educate and maximize their potential
- Stellar presenter and comfortable with executive-level interaction

We are looking for a Sales Director - Canada to join our team and help us change the world of digital advertising together.
Reporting to the Managing Director, US the Sales Director, Canada will be Seedtag's first on-the-ground hire in the Canadian market. While the company already has active business in the market, the Sales Director will cultivate these partnerships and expand our work across agencies and brands; ultimately, building a business and team to support future growth. However, initially the Sales Director will be responsible for achieving an individual quarterly and annual sales quota based on opportunities sourced in Canada. The ideal Sales Director will be responsible for prospecting new customers and growing existing relationships, contributing to meaningful revenue and strategic business opportunities for Seedtag. The candidate must be a team player and able to collaborate with their direct team, local and national market organization and everyone in the company that's committed to our success. Seedtag seeks candidates with strong character, are self-motivated, excited about the contextual advertising space, are solutions oriented and have an insatiable desire to win.
