    About Motion

    Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky and we recently raised $12M in seed funding. But we're just getting started and we need your help.

    We're at the forefront of developing a new software category that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, offering fast, visual reporting for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ads.

    This enables teams to decipher what works and why, with Motion already being the choice for analyzing over $5B in media spend by leading ecomm and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer's Dog, and HexClad.

    As an early member of our sales team, you will be looked upon to set the standard for what success looks like at Motion.

    About this role:

    You'll be responsible for your pod's contribution of new and expansion revenue towards monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals.

    - Hire, onboard, and manage an incredible team of AEs

    - Training/Coaching:

    --> On our industry, buyer, and product

    --> Demo feedback: Uncovering pain, positioning the solution, next steps, etc.

    -> Email feedback: Quality, persistence, etc.

    --> Deals: Live in the deals with the team to get to close

    Ensuring the team's pipeline is managed well (no leads are dropped, follow up in timely, notes are left, etc.)

    Team support:

    --> Sending order forms and facilitating signing of NDAs

    --> Responding to security questionnaires

    Collaboration: With CS, ops, product, and marketing to align on GTM strategies

    Building/strategy: Know when something is 'broken' and flag that it should be fixed

    --> Best practice building and sharing

    --> Build talk tracks and an approach for introducing new features being launched

    *Please note: Onboarding will require you to close deals at a high rate while learning our industry, buyer, and product. May be a world where you are required to hold a smaller quota to stay-up-to-date on our buyers' needs.

    Who you are:

    Experience at a hyper growth company

    The sales motion you are most familiar with is inbound heavy

    --> Would be great if you have outbound experience to help us build the program

    Sold to a similar ACV and deal cycle - high velocity and volume (~30 day close, ~8 demos/day)

    Dedicated to becoming an expert in our industry, buyer, and product

    Not removed from the day-to-day - Eg. always willing to jump on a call with a prospect or client

    Have a natural draw towards:

    --> Wanting to uncover the true pain a prospect is feeling

    --> Storytelling to match the pain statements (and commitment to being a great storyteller)

    --> Being revenue obsessed

    Nice-to-haves:

    Sold in a competitive landscape or sold a complicated product

    You've been responsible for both new business and expansion revenue

    You've managed a team

    You've been entrusted to develop strategies such as: Strategy: Pricing adjustments, regional strategies, outbound program, developing compensation plans, etc.
