    The Position:

    We are looking for a passionate outdoor enthusiast to join our small yet growing team as a full-time Office Manager.

    This role will report to the General Manager and CEO, while acting as a liaison between the employees and the upper management in all departments including sales, marketing, operations, accounting, etc.

    Once management decides that this person is fully trained and capable, the hired person for this role will be given the opportunity to evolve into a role with higher-level responsibilities, such as assigning tasks to employees directly and more.


    The Job:
    Maintain knowledge of the company's goals, vision, and values to ensure appropriate prioritizing and to communicate effectively with the team;
    Translate work communications (via email and in-person) between the CEO and employees/external parties (English - Korean);
    Support and assist the General Manager and/or CEO in all aspects of the business;
    Complete assigned tasks by the General Manager and/or CEO;
    Work with upper management and employees to improve workflow efficiency and employee productivity in all areas;
    Increase management efficiency and effectiveness by hiring, training, and managing staff and partnering with any related businesses;
    Oversee, report, and assist in assigning tasks related to, including but not limited to:
    -inventory levels of goods to ensure timely supply of orders;
    -trade shows, local events, and local account visits;
    -e-commerce/marketing ideas proposed by Marketing Coordinator;
    -e-commerce platform and fulfillment including but not limited to Amazon and Shopify;
    Foster a local & international outdoor industry network platform;
    Work with the sales & operations department to generate production quantities each season;
    Fill in for any roles/departments needing coverage during employee vacations or any other gaps;
    Other duties as assigned/as deemed necessary as the Office Manager.


    Requirements:
    Bilingual in Korean and English
    Minimum 2-year experience working in an office setting
    Experience in a managerial role
    Completed post-secondary education
    Previous work experience with Excel/Google Sheets
    Ability to accurately communicate information through emails and phone calls in both Korean and English
    Ability to build and nurture long-term customer and staff relationships
    Precise and detail-oriented personality with strong organizational skills
    An encouraging attitude and energy that supports the team
    Ability to multi-task
    Ability to travel internationally & attend trade shows 2-3 times per year
    Assets (but not required):
    ~2-year experience in a managerial role
    ~ Experience working in the outdoor industry
    ~ Previous experience and knowledge using Shopify
    ~ Excel experience/knowledge
    ~ Retail and/or customer service experience
    ~ B2B sales/account management experience
    ~ Bookkeeping/accounting knowledge
    ~ Knowledge of the North American outdoor industry
