    Description

    We are a Canadian Artificial Intelligence management software and professional services firm partnering with organizations developing, implementing, or procuring AI to deliver customized principled and ethical AI solutions.

    We are excited to add a Finance and Admin Leader to our team to play a pivotal role in our financial management and growth trajectory.

    You'll be a key member of the management team, reporting to the CEO, CFO (or designate) and overseeing financial activities of the company, ensuring financial health and compliance.


    Financial Strategy & Planning:
    provide financial forecasts, budgets and financial plans to evaluate business performance and guide business decisions

    Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    prepare accurate and timely financial statements, monitor financial performance against targets, provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and cost-effectiveness

    Administrative Support:
    manage invoices, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoicing, payroll, contracting and IT.
    Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
    Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk
    Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards and manage company
    Collaborate with other areas to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
    Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in finance and accounting
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (designation such as CPA preferred)
    Proven experience years) in a finance management role, preferably in the high-tech industry
    Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel
