    HANS and igility is seeking the next Transformational President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through this exciting next phase of transformation and reimagining with steadfast commitment to the organization's long-term success.

    Description Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS) is a not-for-profit, non-government, membership-based association representing organizations along the full continuum of care and whose mandates positively contribute to the social determinants of health.

    igility is a subsidiary of HANS and has the advantage of serving only clients in the healthcare sector, providing agile ways to address the challenges of running a business.

    Through their support and strategic sourcing services, igility helps organizations streamline their processes and optimize costs, so they can focus on their core purpose and on what matters most.

    igility recognized the need to help organizations in our ecosystem adopt best practices, streamline operations and deliver a consistent and high-level standard of care.

    HANS and igility is seeking the next Transformational President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through this exciting next phase of transformation and reimagining with steadfast commitment to the organization's long-term success.

    Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Transformational President and Chief Executive Officer is responsible for:
    Planning and approving all long term and short-term programs of all activities of HANS and igility's management and operations
    Creating within senior leadership team, an openness to new ideas, encouraging innovation
    Ensuring best practices are reviewed and introducing performance measures that strive for continuous improvement
    Assisting the Board and senior leadership team to enhance HANS and igility's reputation for excellence in innovative service delivery through constant review of member needs
    Developing and administering HANS and igility's policies governing the manner in which business will be conducted within the board framework of the mandate given by the Board

    A proven change leader, you bring a track record of effectively leading and enabling system level change within complex, multi-partner environments and have demonstrated commitment to monitoring and nurturing change over the long-term.

    You foster highly diverse, equitable, inclusive environments wherein every member of the community feels validated and accepted.

    A natural relationship builder and collaborator with excellent communication skills, you build lasting, trusted relationships with the board, members and government, industry and community partners alike and are able to engage with a diverse range of audiences.

    You have strong people, operational, and financial leadership skills and are adept at leading in a digitally enabled context and leveraging data, trends, and systems.

    Experience within or and understanding of the healthcare sector, non-profits and their funding structures would be considered an asset.
