    About the team

    We are building an elite team to drive financial insight and strategy at Stripe. The Partnerships Finance and Strategy team works together with the Global Partnerships team and other cross-functional partners to ensure the commercial and financial success of Stripe's partnership deals and business cases. Your work will be highly visible to Stripe leadership and instrumental to realizing Stripe's business aspirations.

    What you'll do

    To further this important mission, we are looking for insightful and analytical team members to be financial and strategic partners to the Global Partnerships organization that powers Stripe. Your work will be instrumental to Stripe achieving its mission, be highly visible to Stripe leadership, and will drive key insights for Board discussions.

    Responsibilities

  • Act as Global Partnerships' financial partner to evaluate and advise on partner deals and business cases through financial modeling and analysis, analytical insights, and benchmarking.
  • Work with cross-functional partners, including Partnerships, Product, Treasury Finance, Accounting, and other Finance and Strategy teams, to develop firm-level business cases.
  • Develop strategic insights across a portfolio of partners and identify potential long-term strategic or optimization opportunities.
  • Support the development of financial frameworks, metrics, and reporting to provide observability of key partner metrics and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Global Partnerships leaders to drive strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., business reviews, forecasts, opex and headcount management)
  • Who you are

    Minimum requirements

  • At least 8+ years of experience in strategic finance at a high growth company and/or investment banking with strong financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated experience driving new initiatives by collaborating with and influencing multiple cross-functional partners
  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
  • Sound business judgment and ability to bring clarity through business insights based on deep analytical rigor
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with a "roll up your sleeves" mentality
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and maintain high performance under tight timelines
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • Deep understanding of payments, card networks, and/or banks, highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience as a finance business partner supporting a partnerships or deal-making function
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn
  • Hybrid work at Stripe

    Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

    Pay and benefits

    The annual US base salary range for this role is $183,600 - $275,400. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
