    POSITION PURPOSE:

    The Billing Support Representative is responsible for taking incoming customer calls, making outbound collection calls, retrieving voicemail messages from the billing support phone queues, transferring calls to the appropriate internal teams, sending invoices and statements to customers, QA order reviews, creating amendments, credit memos, debit memos and processing accurate tickets.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Fielding incoming customer inquiries regarding billing inquiries, new and existing order/services inquiries, domain name renewals via phone and e-mail

    Collections via email and phone calls on past due accounts via the aging control process

    Invoicing customers and processing payments via echeck or credit card.

    Fielding incoming support requests, making detailed and accurate phone tickets and then passing those customers on to the technical support department.

    QA incoming orders/opportunities via the CPQ process

    Assisting the sales team with customer billing requests

    Creating billing reports via the billing system

    Other related tasks/projects as assigned

    Requirements

    DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Computer Literate (Keyboard and PC knowledge required)

    Call Center Experience

    Ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations

    Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

    Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries

    Ability to enter information into multiple screens while listening to customers over the phone

    Resolve customer billing issues over the phone

    Strong organizational skills

    Strong Problem Solving Skills

    Collections Experience

    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

    Proficient in Multitasking

    Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience
