    Position: Accounts Payable Manager

    Location : 1880 Britannia Road East, Mississauga, ON, L4W1J3
    Reporting to: Finance Controller, North America
    Job Status: Full-time, Permanent

    As the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll lead, support and mentor the Accounts Payable Team. Maintaining and implementing best practices as they relate to the Accounts Payable function.

    • Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice processing, documentation review, vendor statement reconciliation, and payment processing.
  • Lead the Accounts Payable team, providing training, setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations.
  • Oversee corporate purchasing credit card program via HSBC & Concur.
  • Implement standard metrics and improve processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead month-end close procedures, including transaction preparation and review.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to ensure accurate invoice payments.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

    • To be successful you'll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • 5 Years of accounting / finance experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOPUP, fundamental functions).
